Cold Case S04E16 – The Goodbye Room Photo Update

s04e16_still_001Well hello to ‘The Goodbye Room’.  Sorry we didn’t get here on time, again.  Blame the Olympics, old age, solar winds, whatever.

A quick update with some more promo photos from an episode of Cold Case that first aired (just over) 15 years ago.  4th of March 2007 in this instance.

Today’s ‘new’ photos all focus around a particular scene with three of our leads in a park in the winter.  First up we have a trio of moderately sized promo photos. Then there is a small behind-the-scenes image showing the camera and lighting setups required for a simple walking and talking shot.

Cold Case S04E14 – 8:03am Photo Update

promo_06.jpgInstead of 8:03, we should title this one 15:03.  This latest addition in our ’15 years on’ series would have been posted last Friday but we had more important things to post about then.  Making this 15 years and 3 days on.

On the 2007 edition of Kathryn’s birthday, this 14th episode of Cold Case series 4 was first aired in the United States.

‘8:03am’ was one of those with a single artist supplying the sound track.  In this case it was U2, who seem to have been in the news a bit recently for some reason I’ve not engaged with. The 8:03am of the title refers, not too surprisingly, to the time the two victims died. Kat Miller (Tracie Thoms) was one of the first people on the scene so solving this one was a little more personal that some others.

The site’s front page currently includes a lot of happy.  We have the Happy New Year, Happy Xmas, and the lovely images of Kathryn at the Ante Up For Autism 2019 event.  With this post we are adding a big Happy Birthday for our favourite lady.

Inherit The Wind Has Evolved

itw_blu-ray_cover_1299x1657A new Blu-ray edition of the movie Inherit The Wind is set for release in the 18th of January 2022 by the Kino Lorber Classics label.

The film has been available as a DVD for a while, but I believe this is the first time it has been produced in HD.  According to the specifications this new release has a new commentary track by a pair of entertainment journalists and some trailers.

Be aware that there are at least two other film versions of what was originally a stage play  The most prominent version, which has even has a 4K Blu-ray option available, was filmed in 1960 and starred Spencer Tracey and Gene Kelly.  Another from the late 1980s featured Kirk Douglas.

The Inherit The Wind that we are interested in is the 1999 production starring Jack Lemmon, George C. Scott, and of course a certain Kathryn Morris.

No point in me repeating a lot of stuff about the film in this post when you can read all about it in a post 8 years ago HERE on KM UK.

A link to the Blu-ray on the Amazon UK website is HERE.  What is not clear from the page is if there are any issues with region coding.  I would hope they have left it as a universal disc.
