Reverie S01E04 – Blue Is The Coldest Color Screencaps

reverie_s01e04_027As we know Kathryn was not in last week’s episode of Reverie.  I’m not sure they went quite far enough in this episode to make up for that unfortunate oversight this time.  Kathryn had around 90 seconds of air-time.  Though, you could look at that as infinitely more.  Mmmm… infinite Kathryn…

The two promo photos for ‘Blue Is The Coldest Color’ covered the two scenes involving Monica Shaw, but the walking and talking version is always better.  Monica surprised me with her attitude towards Charlie in the initial scene.  She seemed annoyed to be contacted by him.  Previously it felt that there might be some ‘history’ between them.

Monica put her abilities to good use to help this week’s ‘victim’ but did so in a way that could been seen as a new marketing angle for Onira Tech.

The next episode should be even better for us Kathryn fans.

There is now an HD (720p) screencap collection from this episode in the KM UK the Gallery.

Exclusive: Reverie In The UK

artwork_006In America they are really getting in to the heart of the 10 episode, first season run of Reverie.  But what about the rest of the world?

KM UK can bring its fellow United Kingdom dwellers a bit of good news on that front.  Not seen this reported anywhere else so I’m going to sneak the word “Exclusive” in here :-)

The SyFy channel is bringing Reverie to the shores on Great Britain starting in early August.  In fact the day after, give or take a timezone or two, the show is due to end in America: the 2nd of August.

onira_tech_dream_life_your_wayAs part of some sort of viral advertising campaign the SyFy channel has created an Onira-Tech (the fictitious company behind the VR technology in the show) website with a promotional video.  See it HERE.  Videos like this remind me too much of the brilliant TV show Better Off Ted to take them seriously.  Find a way to watch it, you’ll thank me.

The SyFy channel and its various versions (some spelt more properly) around the world are part of the NBC Universal corporation, which produces and broadcasts Reverie in the U.S.

Of course, I’ve added a small copy of the video, titled “Dream Life Your Way”, to the KM UK Gallery HERE.

So that is Reverie coming to the UK on August 2nd.  You read it here first.

Update (23rd June):  The TVWise website is reporting, in a claimed exclusive, that the SyFy channel in the UK has acquired the rights broadcast to Reverie, starting in August.  That will come as a shock to many of you, I know.

Update (24th June):  TVWise appear to have removed the ‘exclusive’ claim from their piece.

Shhh… Kathryn Is… Tweeting

kathryn_twitter_002_20180613Sadly, Kathryn did not feature in episode three of Reverie “No More Mr Nice Guy” broadcast this week.  I tell a lie, actually she did appear, but only in a brief clip in the “previously on…” segment at the beginning.  It was there to reminder us of Charlie (Dennis Haysbert) expressing concern for Mara (Sarah Shahi) last week.  Kathryn was a bonus feature.  Collateral benefit if you will.

Possibly as a way to help make up for her not being in the show Kathryn Tweeted up a storm responding to viewers’ questions.  Those of us on this side of the pond most likely missed out due to time zone differences :-(

In amongst the posts was the picture you see to the right of her and co-star Jessica Lu.

jessica_lu_video_004_20180614Over the last few weeks Jessica has posted several photos and short videos of the two of them.  The videos are known as “Après Exitus With Kat & Jes”.  They are very funny snippets of them saying odd things with added effects to put things like glasses and cat noses their faces.  I’ve included many of these images and videos as they’ve appeared in the KM UK Gallery in the Twitter & Instagram album under Miscellaneous.

The latest “Après Exitus” (a reference to it being after the end of the show no doubt) sees our stars ponder the lack of Monica (Kathryn) in the episode, and settle the debate on whether Kathryn does her own stunts.

Reverie S01E04 – Promo Photos – Updated x2

Reverie_s01e04_promo_001A head of tonight’s latest episode of Reverie we have a couple of promotional photographs from next week’s.

Reverie_s01e04_promo_002There were more images covering the rest of the cast and a guest star or two but I’ve only gone for the two featuring our Ms Morris.

The first, above, shows Monica looking through a door.  Is she looking back as she leaves?  Is she making her presence felt as she enters?  Who’s door is it?  Mysterious.

The other photo involves Monica in a car park structure with a man carrying a number of small pill bottles.  To be honest I am assuming the pills are small, you can’t see them in the small bottles :-)

The two new photos are in KM UK Gallery HERE.  When larger, better quality versions become available they will be updated.

Last week we brought you the press release giving a brief plot description for this episode.

Update (14th June):  As promised, the two promo photos in the Gallery have now been replaced by much larger and better quality version.  And as if I haven’t spoiled you enough for one day I’ve also added a preview video for next week’s episode.  Kathryn doesn’t feature in the clip but we know she’s in the episode much more than she was in episode 3.

Update (17th June):  To further pad out this post of promotional material from episode 4 of Reverie I’ve added two clips from the show.  The first sees Mara talking to Oliver Hill, co-creator of Onira-Tech with Jessica Lu’s Alexis.  Oliver has some warnings.  Clip number two is Mara finding out that a key part of the technology has been stolen.  Neither clip involves Kathryn.

Reverie S01E02 – Bond. Jane Bond Screencaps

reverie_s01e02_021The names Smile.  Beautiful Smile  :-)

In Reverie episode 2, ‘Bond. Jane Bond’, protagonist Mara Kint (Sarah Shahi) met our mysterious investor/DOD lady Monica Shaw for the first time.  Mara asked Charlie (Dennis Haysbert) about Monica.  Monica asked Charlie about Mara.  Neither really got answers.

The preview clip we saw yesterday of Kathryn in this one was about half of what actually appeared in the show.  Still, an improvement over last week.  Onwards and upwards.

I have added a small collection of HD (720p) screencaps of Kathryn in Reverie episode 2 of season 1 to the KM UK the Gallery.
