More Cougars, Inc. On Set Photos

Last week in my post about the release of Loverboys (the German name for Cougars, Inc.) on DVD I noted that three new on set pictures that included Kathryn from the on-disc extras were added to the Gallery. I have now upgraded them to HD sized versions so I thought they warranted a new post.

Plus, another on set image (below right) was posted on the movie’s official Facebook page the other day. Little point posting an item for just one such image so I held off mentioning it until today, but I know that many of you have already spotted it 😉

Cougars, Inc. Première Video – Update

A MrJBone99 (I dunno) has posted a video comprising of footage taken at the Cougars, Inc. première, the after party and various people discussing what a cougar is on YouTube. Kathryn appears several times, including in snippets from the previously posted Mingle Media interview video.

The new video has been added to the Gallery. As it is small sized, quite low quality and covered in credit text I haven’t done screencaps. And the red carpet and after party event photos we have cover it anyway.

Update: A 2nd version of the video has been posted on YouTube by CougarTutor (who I believe is actually one of the movie’s exec producers). A copy can be found in the Gallery. This version is lacking the alcoholic beverage branding but includes other captions that suggest it is being as a promotional tool in of itself with its “your logo here” type messages. So, it is part promo for the tour and part promo for the company that put the promo together. I think!

Cougars, Inc. Soundtrack List – Update

In the previous post Icywinter asked about the soundtrack of Cougars, Inc. I’ve also seen others asking and searching for this information so I put together a page listing all the songs from the credits of the movie.

Most of the songs are written and performed by Cisco Adler and some of those were done in colaboration with writer/director Asher Levin. Will Crum and Dirty Harry also contributed tracks.

Update: The soundtrack page has been updated with a list of the tracks (well, most of them) as they appear in the film. Please let me know if you can help fill in the gaps.

Loverboys Hit The Streets Today – Update x2

Today’s the day to get out on the Straße and hit the Geschäfte because the 21st of April is Loverboys – Desperate Wives day in Germany.

Europe sees the worldwide première of the renamed Cougars, Inc. on DVD and Blu-ray, three weeks before the North American 10th of May release. The discs almost certainly contain the original English soundtrack so won’t be limited to only German speaking folks.

This will be the first time that the DVD extras (which apparently include a “Making of…” and picture gallery) will be seen.

My copy should be here very soon. Just in time for the extended weekend 😉

Update: Credit to Amazon Germany and UPS for getting the discs to me first thing this morning. As Julie comments below Kathryn only appears on the front of the box art. Denise appears 5 times in total. Rebecca and Catalina twice. Disappointingly the DVD extras only amount to the trailer and a photo gallery (I’ve added copies of the 3 involving Kathryn to the Gallery), though there are trailers for three other movies. There is no “Making of…” and no cast and crew commentaries. The need to have a 2nd language on the disc may have taken up too much space and caused the removal of the extras. Making it a dual layer disc would have added to the costs. The Blu-ray is little more than a high definition version of the DVD. We’ll have to wait and see if the American version is different.

Update 2: Credit to me from Amazon Germany! The price of the Loverboys Blu-ray dropped by €5 to match the €9.99 (less than US$15) of the DVD, making it even more of a bargain than before and they’ve refunded me the difference. Cougars, Inc. Promo Images

Promo image time! It’s a bit of a mixed bag but well worth a look.

Starting off with a medium sized but fairly low quality screenshot-type image of the ladies at the party (below, left). It’s much like ones we’ve seen before but the focus is wrong. Next up (below, middle) we have an upgrade to the on set image of Kathryn and Denise sat on the sofa. We get an even better view of those great legs! Penultimately (below, right) we have a new medium sized on set image of Kathryn and Kyle.

And last, but definitely not least, we have the pièce de résistance: the image you see above. It’s huge!
