This month’s Fan Art update has the privilege of welcoming another new comer to our midsts.

Alongside KM UK stalwart IcyWinter‘s new Avatars and Banners we have four Wallpapers from Richard Maissner. As you can see from from the image above Richard does very complex, intricate work. See all the additions in the Gallery.

KM UK Is Two Today!

KM UK reaches the grand old age of 2 today (18 May 2011).

At this time last year we were at approaching 180 articles posted, nearly one every two days. A couple of months ago it looked like we would not be matching that hit rate in the past year. The lack of regular Cold Case news was a major factor. However, all the recent Cougars, Inc. coverage has got us back on track

Now we’re at nearly 380 posts and more than 2600 comments. Plus, the gallery continues to grow with over 400 registered viewers, more then 45,000 images, hundreds of thousands of hits and many hundreds of comments and ratings.

Thank you to everyone that has contributed in the past 12 months to help make this site such a big success.

Cold Case S04E01 – Rampage Full HD Screencaps

This year for KM UK’s Summer Of HD 2011 we focus on Cold Case season 4 and it starts with a bang! Or two! 😉

In the first episode, Rampage, we get to see Kathryn (as Lilly) in bed stroking a teenage boy (albeit in picture form). Little did she know then that three and half years latter she’d actually be doing something very similar with the same young man (Kyle Gallner) in the movie Cougars, Inc. Of course the man Kathryn is sharing the bed with here is one of the actors that stole her job in Pensacola: Wings Of Gold when the cast was almost completely changed for that show’s second season. And all this happened under the nose of a Cold Case Supervising Producer who was to become her partner, business and otherwise. Oh what a tangled web we weave.

Back to the episode. Stillman’s giving Rush the cold shoulder because Joseph’s giving her the warm… feelings as the team investigate the case of a shooting spree in a shopping mall.

Summer Of HD 2011

Exactly which day is the first of summer in the UK seems to be the cause of some debate. It could have already past. Or not be due for a few weeks. Whatever. Here at KM UK we are declaring that today is the first day of our summer and that means the return of our Summer Of HD.

Starting next week we’ll be expanding the Gallery with new HD screencaps. This year our main focus is another season of Cold Case with all new exclusive full HD 1080p screencaps from most of the episodes. But which season will it be? You’ll have to wait and see, but I will say that it is a great one for Lilly-caps, with Kathryn looking amazing. Not that that narrows it down very much Also there will be promo videos for some of the episodes.

Plus, we’ll have updates to various movies, public appearances and photoshoots.

It’s going to be a long hot summer 😉

Tracie Wonders About The Future No More

001 Sadly it looks like the pilot for the new Wonder Woman series, which starred Cold Case alumni Tracie Thoms, has not been picked up for a full series, as Nellie Andreeva over at Deadline.com reports. It is not an official announcement, they don’t tend to do that, but Deadline is rarely wrong. See the full article HERE.

In that same report you will see mention that “an order for Stephen Gaghan’s sprawling drama Metro is considered extremely unlikely too.” This is bad news for Danny Pino as this is the show that was previously known as S.I.L.A. or Special Investigations L.A.

It has not been a good few months for a trio of Cold Case stars returning to TV as the drama series that Kathryn was co-producing never got beyond the script stage.
