Moneyball World Première On 8th September?

We already know that Moneyball is due to get its world première as a gala event at the Toronto International Film Festival.  The festival runs from the 8th to the 18th of September.

What hasn’t been announced yet is the exact schedule for the festival.  However, the actor Casey Bond, who stars in Moneyball, may have let slip the date of the Moneyball’s first screening in a recent interview.  Casey was chatted with Maximo TV at last night’s (8th August) première for the comedy movie 30 Minutes Or Less.

It may be a mistake, he may mean that it premières at the festival which starts on the 8th, but Casey does state that the world première will be on the 8th of September.  That would make it the opening event of the whole festival.  Brad Pitt, no doubt accompanied by Angelina Jolie, on the red carpet would certainly start the festival off with a bang.

Moneyball gets its general release in North America on September 23rd.  It is scheduled for the UK a couple of months later.

Another Moneyball Poster

Another poster for Moneyball has been released.  This one has been described as the “International Poster” which explains the “coming soon” rather than a specific date.

Kathryn and Robin Wright, or any of the cast outside of Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour Hoffman, are not mentioned as usual.

Explosives expert Louie Amante (played by Doug Spinuzza) makes a welcome return to Cold Case helping Lilly and the gang solve a case from 1981.

Lolly’s Cold Case Rant

Dancer, English scholar, fan art creator and regular commenter here on KM UK, Lolly, has vented her spleen on the fate of Cold Case.

Sevens seasons of the police drama series unlike all the others brought us the hard-as-nails but so very fragile Detective Lilly Rush of the Philadelphia Police Department, played so brilliantly by the incomparable Kathryn Morris.  Over on her Accio Dance! Tumblr site Lolly (aka Gina) explains why she loves Cold Case and her near-namesake Lilly so much.  She also challenges those of you that haven’t seen yet it to do so.

If you doubt me or this show, I dare you to watch an episode. Look it up on Surf The Channel, Let Me Watch This, or WHATEVER TV site you use, and WATCH IT. I GUARANTEE you will LOVE it. Because Cold Case is the BEST show that has ever been on Television.

Another Moneyball Trailer

Another trailer for the movie Moneyball has been released.  Brad Pitt is coming over all Steve Ballmer in this one with furniture bearing the brunt of anger :-)

I know how he feels.  There is still no indication of whether Kathryn will be in the release version of the film or not 😡

It’s being called trailer number 2 by most people but it is actually the third we’ve seen.  The TV spot was the 2nd.  You can find a copy of the video in the Gallery.
