Much like the British summer KM UK’s Summer of HD 2011 involving Cold Case season 4 was a little patchy There were some episodes missing. We can now put that right for one of them: Offender (episode 19).
Let me get this straight:
- Detective Scotty (Danny) has a bit of a temper. We’ve seen him getting very “hands-on” with a suspect.
- One of Scotty’s partners is a blonde female detective.
- The Captain is quite old and balding.
- There’s an attractive red-headed A.D.A.
Anyone else have a sense of déjà vu… again?
Offender saw X Files regular Mitch Pileggi star as a desperate father taking the law into his own hands in a bid to force the cops to look into the death of his son. The squad have to solve the cold case and try and stop Mitch from killing again. This episode is focussed around more Scotty but there is still plenty of Lilly to enjoy.
170 Full HD (1080p) Lilly screencaps can now be found in the Gallery.

Philip Seymour Hoffman’s directorial début, Jack Goes Boating, received a limited cinematic release here in the UK recently. Reviews were mixed, but Hoffman’s co-star Amy Ryan was often singled out for praise for her performance.
To mark the occasion we bring you another set of images of Kathryn attending a special screening of the movie in Los Angeles last year. Any excuse.
This is go around number for five us and this event (see the previous first, second, third and fourth posts) sees the addition of a further 11 photos (1 big, 10 smallish) to the Gallery.
Will we see more photos from this event in a few months? Watch this space
On a sort of related note Moneyball, starring Hoffman and not Kathryn, will be in UK cinemas next week.

I never thought I’d see the day!
Screenplay, one of Kathryn’s earlier roles, looked like it would never surface in any form. It had become of the one the “Holy Grails”. Suddenly the director, Adam Winston, has posted a few clips, including two involving Kathryn, on YouTube.
The scenes give Kathryn a chance to cover the full range of emotions: from obedient secretary to very angry secretary. Ninja girl indeed!
Screenplay, made in 1999, tells the story of a screenwriter desperate for work taking a Hollywood agent hostage. Kathryn plays the agent’s secretary named, if the clip is anything to go by, Fanny.
The scenes and a small number screencaps from them can now be found in the Gallery. The originals can be found on YouTube here and here. The quality is not great and there is some fruity language. You have been warned.
Big thanks to Adam for posting them.

Since doing a piece like this on Thom Barry (Will Jeffries on Cold Case) last month I’ve been hoping to do a follow up about what the two remaining major Cold Case cast members (John Finn and Jeremy Ratchford) have been up/will be doing. There has been very little news on either. John has been in the public eye even less than Kathryn!
So, to see John Finn (John Stillman on Cold Case) guest star in the most recent episode of one the biggest TV shows in America was a surprise. No, not X Factor! Playing a very senior member of the Naval service, a General I think, John got to encourage NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) to pull out all the stops in solving the case of a female Lieutenant missing in Iraq. The way certain characters were behaving suggests there is more to this meets the eye so far. I say ‘so far’ because it is not over yet. Will the team find the missing Marine? Is John’s General really the good guy he appears to be? Find out next week in the thrilling instalment of this two-part story.
Mark Harmon has had the pleasure of working with Kathryn twice in his career. The first time was in the TV movie Long Road Home, the first role for “Kathy”. The second was the TV movie And Never Let Her Go, based on the real story of murder victim Anne Marie Fahey.
As I said, there’s been no other news on John’s future work, at least not that I’ve found. If you can prove me wrong please you the Contact form to let me know.
Titan Pictures Media has posted a trailer for the short film Sunday’s Mother on YouTube. The film stars Chase Ellison, Brian Norris, Riley Smith and Kathryn. Kathryn is Gillian the mother of Sunday (Chase) who suffers at the hands of a bully threatening to expose a secret about her.
Looks dramatic!
The trailer and screencaps from it can now be found in the Gallery. The original can be found on YouTube.
