Danny In L&O: SVU Screencaps Part 4

danny_pino_002_430x180Welcome to part 2 of the… 2 part Pino Week here on KM UK.

More screencaps of Danny, this time from his most recent outing on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.  I’d heard that there was more of Det. Amaro’s family life in this episode so it seemed a good one to look at.

You can find the screencaps from L&O:SVU episode 10 in a previous post and links in that post to the one prior to that and so on.  Posting screencaps like this from SVU is just an occasional thing on KM UK for the many visiting Danny fans.  Not every episode will be done.  Let me know if there is a particular episode that stands out as being worth doing.

Phwoar Horse

The Discovery channel might have Dino Week but here on KM UK we are going to have a mini Pino Week :-)

During the downtime between filming seasons of shows like Cold Case the actors get just a couple of months during which they can take on other projects.  The summer of 2005 (between CC seasons 2 & 3) saw Danny Pino take on what must be one of his toughest roles to date: hunky cowboy.

Released in the autumn of 2006 in the US, the movie Flicka is based on the 1941 Mary O’Hara novel My Friend Flicka.  Flicka is the tale of a girl (in the book it’s a boy) and a rather wild mustang she finds on her family’s ranch.  All very heart warming, I’m sure lessons are learned by all and we would probably be better people for watching it.  Flicka was made available on Blu-ray last year.

Danny’s role is relatively small, he plays Jack, one of the ranch hands.  He appears regularly through much of film, often in the background helping out around the farm or on horse back.  On a couple of occasions he is more prominent.  And then there’s the scene pictured above…

Flicka was on TV in the UK recently and seeing it in the listings reminded me that I should do something a bit special for the many lady visitors to this site.  I made screencaps from the movie years ago for the Look Again discussion board and it seemed to go down well, but now we can make a big step up in size and quality.

Silk Stalkings

screenshot_001I can’t believe it has taken me this long to get around to this one.  Before we go any further:  spoilers abound, you have been warned.

American TV show Silk Stalkings had a bumpy ride over its 8 year run.  After initially being broadcast in a prime slot on CBS it got moved to the USA network.  The original male lead (Rob Estes as Sgt. Chris Lorenzo) wanted out before his 5 year contract was done but stuck it out.  His character was killed off during season 5 and his female co-star (Mitzi Kapture as Sgt. Rita Lee Lance) didn’t want to extend her contract beyond the end of that year.

Season 6 saw wholesale changes to cast and crew with two new leads.  I’m sure many fans were not happy about this but the show continued for three more seasons so it must have kept a fair few of them.

Moneyball Deleted Scene Full HD Screencaps

Sorry, I didn’t quite catch that so I’ll assume you said “bad”.  The bad news is that I’m able to confirm that Kathryn does not feature at all in the extras on the US Moneyball Blu-ray, except for the deleted scene we already know about.  Get the Blu-ray as it is still worth watching in HD.  Robin Wright goes unmentioned as well, but at least she got a scene in the flick 😕

And the good news… no peaking at the subject above… what do you mean you’ve already read it?  We’ll if that’s your attitude I’m not going to tell you  😡

Oh, OK, I can’t stay mad at you :-)  The good news is that we now have 30 full HD (1080p) screencaps of the lovely oh-so Kathryn from the Billy/Tara restaurant scene.  You can find them in the Gallery.  They are a little grainy, which is probably down to the darkness of the restaurant setting.

500th Post!

Actually that’s a small lie.  This is actually number 501.  Not surprisingly that means that the previous post was the 500th.

It almost passed me by that we’d reached this significant figure.  It has taken just under 3 years to reach this point.  At this rate we will cross the 1000 mark late in 2014.

Thanks to all of you for reading my little site.  I know that some of you have had the errr… pleasure… of suffering through each and every one of those 500.  Special commiserations to you :-)   Thank you also to those that have contributed in any way to helping us reach this point.
