Do you recognise these photos? Where were you when they were taken? If you have any information call Crime Stoppers let us know in the comments below
The two photos above were taken by Suzetta Anne, who has kindly allowed KM UK to post them here. See them in full in the new Unknown section of the Gallery.
The photos are part of a small set taken by Suzetta on, I believe, October 12th, 2007. The full set can be seen on Suzetta’s Flickr page HERE. They were clearly taken around a location shoot for Cold Case but what I don’t know is exactly what episode the filming relates to. I’d like to identify them so they can be correctly filed in the Gallery. I know that many of you have got a more encyclopaedic knowledge of CC than me. Can you help?
Let’s go through the evidence:
- Mid-October in 2007 makes it the early in Cold Case season 5. I think Kathryn’s “Lilly do” tallies with that.
- Taking into account the time between filming and broadcast puts it somewhere around episode 5 or 6.
- One of the other photos shows a scene that looks like a graduation ceremony. I’ve gone through the episodes but cannot find anything that look similar. Perhaps the scenes were cut from the broadcast episode.
What do you think?
Remember: Photos like this are very rare. Don’t have nightmares.
Update (8th July): Thank you to all those that got in touch with me about this in comments, via Twitter and more directly. I can now say with some certainty that the photos were taken on the set of the Cold Case season 5 episode 10 “Justice”. That was several episodes later than I expected. Having reviewed the episode adding to the confusion was the fact that Kathryn and John are not really seen in that environment in the episode, Lt. Stillman only appears briefly (on his boat) in the show as he is on suspension. The graduation scene is in the opening flashback and therefore does not include Lilly. The photos have now been moved the appropriate part of the Gallery.
In the UK we’ve had the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, between the rain showers some tennis is being played at Wimbledon, the British Formula 1 Grand Prix is this coming weekend, and the Olympics are just three weeks away. However, we Brits thought we’d let the Merkins have this one day. This year we’re calling it Wednesday, they call it Independence Day or the Fourth Of July. Which is fortunate given that it falls on the 4th of this month
Happy 4th of July to all our friends in America and one special lady in particular.
Thanks to Lolly for the wallpaper seen above, which is available in the Gallery.
After the recent completion of filming on Confections Of A Discarded Women I feared that we would not see or hear from Kathryn again until the movie premièred next year.
That may not be case after all.
In an article just published about the director Fabien Martorell signing on to direct the movie of Chuck Palahniuk’s novel Snuff, ComingSoon.net is reporting that the same director is currently filming The Coin with Kathryn.
Martorell, meanwhile, recently wrapped The Guns Story, a documentary about legendary guitarist Tracii Guns (founder of L.A. Guns and Guns N’ Roses), and is currently filming The Coin starring Christopher Lloyd and Kathryn Morris.
Read the article in full HERE (I should warn you that the description of Snuff is a bit NSFW).
Rachel Abrams over at the Variety website is reporting (again, a bit NSFW) the same thing in much the same minimal manner.
More news when we get it.
Hate? How can you hate that? That picture should be in the dictionary next to the list of antonyms for hate!
Episode 7 of Cold Case season 1 was A Time To Hate and it is the subject of the latest entry in KM UK’s Summer of HD 2012.
The story centres around the treatment of members of the gay community in the 1960s. Have things changed so much these days? Probably not enough.
Can the PPD squad solve the murder of a young baseball player? Was one of their own, a policeman, involved?
348 Full HD (720p) Lilly screencaps from the episode can now be found in the Gallery.
It has been a while since we did one of these fan art updates, it was for Kathryn’s birthday in fact.
Hopefully this post, with new images kindly donated to KM UK by fans like yourself, will inspire you to make some fan art. The KM UK Gallery is full of great images, including the recent new HD Cold Case season 1 screencaps, Cougars, Inc. behind-the-scenes photos and images from Confections Of A Discarded Woman, should provide some inspiration as well as source material.
Lolly and new girl Stella have between themselves provided us with a set of wallpapers, whilst Kathy has done a drawing for us. Many thanks to them for all their efforts.
It would be good to be able to post these updates more regularly again, but that depends on you. Yes, you. If you have made some Kathryn-related Fan Art and would be willing to let it be shown here on KM UK please contact me.
