Sunday’s Mother DVDs Ship & Exclusive Clip

As part of the Kickstarter crowd funding process it is normal for those that help with the funding of a project to be promised certain rewards as an incentive. This is often early access or special editions of the product. In the case of the short film Sunday’s Mother a DVD of the movie was the main item on offer.

KM UK has been informed that technical issues delayed the process significantly but in the past few days the DVDs and other rewards have been sent out to the 17 backers that pledged $25 more to help get Sunday’s Mother made.

To celebrate this milestone KM UK brings you a short exclusive video clip from the movie. It is part of the opening scene from the film as Gillian (Kathryn) and Sunday (Chase Ellison) enter their new apartment, as pictured above. You can now find the video in the Gallery.

Sunday’s Mother is still in the process of being submitted to festivals. It was accepted into the Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC 2012 last Friday and was screened at the Phenom Film Fest this past weekend. We will bring you any more news as it comes in.

Kathryn @ She Wants Me DVD Launch Event – Update x2

She likes to keep us guessing does our Kathryn.

It’s been five months since we saw her at an event.

Last night (8th September 2012) Kathryn was in Las Vegas for the DVD launch event of the movie She Wants Me.

She Wants Me stars Josh Gad (Woke Up Dead), Kristen Ruhlin (One Life To Live), Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire), Charlie Sheen (2 And A Half Men) and our old friend Johnny Messner (G.I. Joe: Renegades and Cold Case).

The last event we saw Kathryn at was the première of She Wants Me back in April. She must really, really like this film. There is just no other explanation 😕

We now have 7 medium sized photos in the Gallery of Kathryn and some bloke (it’s Johnny Messner) on the not-so red carpet at this event. We’ll update this post if we get more or find better versions.

Sunday’s Mother @ Brownfish Short Film Festival

More Sunday’s Mother festival news.

The short film Sunday’s Mother, which stars Kathryn as the mother of the lead character Sunday, has been accepted, appropriately, into the Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC 2012.

Taking place between the 2nd and 4th of November in New York, the festival is the work of the Brownfish production company. It was created to help filmmakers showcase their work.

The 15 minute long Sunday’s Mother will be competing for Best Drama with five other films. There are five more categories and 22 films in total. Congratulations and good luck to Sunday’s Mother.

Sunday’s Mother @ Phenom Film Fest Tomorrow

phenomfilmfest_100x150 Back in May the short drama film Sunday’s Mother starring Kathryn, Chase Ellison, Riley Smith and Brian Norris received it’s première at the Newport Beach Film Festival.

Tomorrow (Friday, 7th September 2012) and Saturday sees the 15 minute short film Sunday’s Mother get another festival screening, this time at the Phenom Film Fest, based in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Like the Newport Beach event, Sunday’s Mother will be shown in a themed block of seven “Drama Short Films”. The latest version of the Phenom schedule shows that there have been some changes to the line up and timings. Now totalling 1.5 hours, instead of over 2, the block gets its first airing at the East Bank Theatre at a new time of 13:30, moved back by 15 minutes. Saturday’s repeat showing at the Marriot Courtyard remains at 17:50.

Sunday’s Mother is a short film about a boy (Sunday) suffering at the hands of a bully. Kathryn plays Gillian, the boy’s mother. It was filmed last year after raising funds via the Kickstarter website. KM UK is proud to have been involved in the fund raising effort and supporting this film.

Cold Case S01E16 – Volunteers HD Screencaps

Finally! Someone gives Lilly a complement. I’ve wanted to give her one for ages 😉 She’s a little flustered by it. So cute.

Like last week’s Disco Inferno we’re back in ‘remains found under a building’ territory in Volunteers, the latest post in KM UK’s Summer Of HD 2012.

Volunteers has quite an array of female guest stars. Marisol Nichols makes her first appearance as Scotty’s long-term girlfriend Elisa. Amber Benson (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Maggie Grace (Lost) and Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) all feature in the flashbacks to the 1969 murder of two young people. Working in an illegal abortion clinic makes our two volunteers a target for attacks. But is that why they were killed? Probably not, that would be too obvious.

And to top it all Louie’s back!
