The second of two cases from the early 1990s (after Who’s Your Daddy? as covered last week) sees Rush & Co. re-investigate a cold case with similarities to a fresh one.
Any investigation involving a story of mistreated children is bound to touch a cord with Lilly and this one is no exception. Throw in the cliques and cruelty of children to each other things could get ugly.
This week’s edition of KM UK’s Summer Of HD for 2013 is The Sleepover from season 2 of Cold Case.
We bring you another 244 high quality, watermark-lacking, set of full HD screencaps of Kathryn as Lilly Rush. Find them all in the Gallery now.
Forget “how many likes?” Let’s make it “how long until the picture above appears on Lisa’s KM Facebook page?”
Update (12 June 2013): More of an Ooopsdate In the excitement of the past few days I forgot to add a small collection of stills and on set photos from this episode. Thanks to Kathy for the reminder. Included in the on set photos is one with flashback guest star Carly Schroeder. Prior to this Cold Case gig Carly worked on several TV series, including Dawson’s Creek and 12 episodes of Lizzie McGuire, and she hadn’t even reached her teens at that stage. Since CC Carly had a significant role in the 2006 Harrison Ford movie Firewall and a guest spot on a pre-Danny Pino L&O:SVU, as well as several other TV and film roles. She is now only 22 and I suddenly feel very old.
Kathryn and her two little friends, or maybe that should be her two larger than normal friends 😮 , were at an event showcasing baby and toddler related products yesterday (9th June 2013).
The Plush Show 2013 ran over the weekend at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza with sellers showing pushchairs/strollers, cots and no doubt everything else you could possibly need for a baby or two.
For now we just have a number of preview images in the Gallery. Larger and less preview-y images will be added when we get them.
Update (10 June 2013): A whole raft of additional and replacement images have been added and… errr… replaced. Number 17 (the one in the banner above) is a significant enlargement on the previous version, which seems appropriate
Update (11 June 2013): Maximo TV has posted a video of an interview with Kathryn at this event. You can see it HERE on YouTube. Kathryn talks about her pregnancy and, in amongst a few awkward pauses, mentions the not picked up Surgeon General pilot and having a several “irons in the fire” for future projects once things have settled down with the babies. A small copy of the video and HD (720p) screencaps from it are now in
Update (13 June 2013): To help some of non-English speakers a transcript of the interview in the video has been added to the description text that accompanies the video in the Gallery.
Fabien Martorell has sent a Tweet, following a Facebook page post, that his short film The Coin will première at the Palm Springs International ShortFest on Saturday the 22nd of June. It will be at a 1:30pm screening at the Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs.
The short film, which stars Kathryn Morris and Christopher Lloyd (Back To The Future), was filmed last summer and revolves around a young boy meeting a homeless man at a shop. Kathryn plays the boy’s very stressed mother.
The official programme for the event is not due to be released until tomorrow (9th June 2013) but Fabien has clearly been given the information ahead of time.
We wish everyone involved in the production all the best with the event.
You can read more about the ShortFest at the event’s website.
Update (9 June 2013): The official programmes have been released by the ShortFest organisers. The Coin will be screened alongside 8 other short films in a package called FantasyLand. The group is comprised of films from all over the world including France, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. As The Coin shows, these short productions can include some internationally famous actors. An entry in FantasyLand from England, called Dust, stars Alan Rickman (Die Hard) and Jodie Whittaker (Attack The Block). Fellow Brit actors Ian McKellen (X-Men), Brenda Blethyn (Little Voice) and Christopher Eccleston (Dr Who), and singer and The Voice UK coach Tom Jones also have roles in other films across the festival.
Update (10 June 2013): The Palm Springs International ShortFest official press release announcing the 2013 line-up has been published. You can read it here. The world premiere of The Coin and Christopher Lloyd starring in it are mentioned, Kathryn is not name-checked but it’s an incredibly lengthy and impressive list of actors from all over the world so we’ll forgive the oversight on this occasion
The special features video for The Sweeter Side Of Life that KM UK first reported on 3 weeks ago has turned up on the Hallmark Channel’s own website.
They’ve labelled it “Behind the scenes” and “On location with The Sweeter Side” but it is exactly the same video we first saw in mid-May. We’d assumed it was the basis of the special features for the DVD release, and perhaps it still will be, but it was clearly done with the intention of posting it on the web first.
Anyway, if you haven’t been able to see it already after it was removed from YouTube you now have a good opportunity to do so. You can find it, surprise surprise, in the “Video” section of the Hallmark Channel’s TSSOL sub-site.
The film continues to receive ocassional airings on the Hallmark Channel. The next is due on the 21st of July, just days after the DVD release.
You could almost set your watch, or more precisely calendar, by the ITV3 schedule.
People often say horrible things about the people that create the TV schedules. Most often this is because their favourite programme has been moved to a less popular or more inconvenient timeslot. You can’t say that about the schedulers at ITV3, oh no. June 2010, June 2012, and now June 2013 (not sure if we just missed June 2011). Each year the TV movie Murder, She Wrote: A Story To Die For, a spin-off from the popular TV series, has been shown on ITV3 in the UK. That’s not a scatter-gun or sadistic approach to timetables. It’s more like a case of OCD. Let’s see if it happens again in 2014.
This year’s outing is on Saturday (8th June) at 12 noon and repeated on Sunday morning at 7:55am. And, of course there are the ITV3 +1 (which is not the same as ITV4 ) re-showings.
For those few of Kathryn’s fans that haven’t seen it Kathryn has a significant guest starring role in the film. A bit of comic relief and, for once, a suspect in a major crime. She doesn’t get to solve the crime or play the ‘love interest’, which, based on who plays the main leads (English-born actress Angela Lansbury and the late Richard Crenna) that is probably a good thing
Details can be found on the Radio Times website.
Screencaps (such as the one above) from the film can be found in the Gallery.
