Things get a little sticky for Lilly as she gets caught in the middle of a particularly hunky love triangle with Joseph and the sudden appearance of Ray, the motorcycle man.

The squad investigate the death of a subway tunnel digger in 1947, which turns into an interracial love story at time when such relationships were frowned upon.

This year for KM UK’s Summer Of HD 2011 we focus on Cold Case season 4 and it starts with a bang!  Or two! 😉

In the first episode, Rampage, we get to see Kathryn (as Lilly) in bed stroking a teenage boy (albeit in picture form).  Little did she know then that three and half years latter she’d actually be doing something very similar with the same young man (Kyle Gallner) in the movie Cougars, Inc.  Of course the man Kathryn is sharing the bed with here is one of the actors that stole her job in Pensacola: Wings Of Gold when the cast was almost completely changed for that show’s second season.  And all this happened under the nose of a Cold Case Supervising Producer who was to become her partner, business and otherwise.  Oh what a tangled web we weave.

Back to the episode.  Stillman’s giving Rush the cold shoulder because Joseph’s giving her the warm… feelings as the team investigate the case of a shooting spree in a shopping mall.
