As we hoped Kathryn is in New York this weekend for the special screening of the Reverie pilot at the New York Comic Con event.
And by the looks of it she is having some fun.

Want to see an exclusive screening of NBC’s new virtual reality-themed drama series Reverie?
If you’ve managed to answer Yes to both the questions above then I have some good news for you
The Sarah Shahi (Person Of Interest), Jessica Lu (Awkward.), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes), Dennis Haysbert (24), and, of course, Kathryn-starring show pilot will be shown at the New York Comic Con this weekend.
The fan-service convention opens just at lunchtime on Thursday (5th Oct) and continues until late Sunday afternoon. Amongst other elements there are over 40 screenings and discussion panels covering a range of movies and TV shows. The X-Files, the new Pacific Rim film sequel, Dr Who, Robot Chicken, Star Trek: Discovery, Black Mirror, The Gifted and many, many more. Lots of stars and creators will be attending to talk about their new project.
The Reverie screening of the first episode, months ahead of the planned series broadcast starting, includes a panel discussion with cast and crew. It starts at 4:15pm in room 1A10 of the Javits Center, Hells Kitchen, New York City. Creator/writer/producer Mickey Fisher (Extant) will certainly be there. The main cast members are also expected. From what I’ve seen, Kathryn could well be amongst them.

 YAY! SHE’S BACK AGAIN! For only the second time for 2017.
It’s Primetime Emmy Awards season in that there U. S. of A.
Last weekend it was the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. These are for the often unsung heroes of the TV industry. Those behind the scenes folk that are often behind (as in responsible for) the actual scenery used in TV shows. Other technical and production aspects are covered. Highlights of the ceremony, which actually happened over two nights, is due to be broadcast tonight (Saturday, 16th September 2017) on the FXX channel.
Tomorrow the same Microsoft Theater in LA will play host to the Primetime Emmy Awards. The CBS TV network (once home to Cold Case) will broadcast the show live, which is why a lot of American TV programs are taking the weekend off. The Late Show‘s Stephen Colbert will be master of ceremonies.
Yesterday (are you keeping up? there’s lots of days involved here  ) Kathryn graced a party held by the Gersh Agency with her ever-wonderful presence. Lucky them. Kathryn signed with Gersh back in August 2010.
As you can see from the photo we have Kathryn looked very lovely indeed in her black & white ensemble

 A quick reminder that the not-at-all-like Fatal Attraction teen drama You Get Me is due have its première tonight (19th June) in Los Angeles.
The film is being shown as part of the LA Film Festival, which started last Wednesday with a showing of the new Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World writer/director) movie The Book Of Henry. Naomi Watts (Tank Girl) and Jack Tremblay (Room) star as mother and son in that one.
Since then there has been a busy schedule of features and documentaries, both old and new. The event continues until Thursday night when, after an afternoon and evening of award winner showings, the festival closes with a screening of Ingrid Goes West, a social media-based comedy drama starring Aubrey Plaza (Parks And Recreation) and Elizabeth Olsen (Old Boy).
The Bella Thorne, Halston Sage, Taylor John Smith, Anna Akana, Nash Grier, Jennifer Esposito, Kathryn Morris, Netflix-owned movie You Get Me will be shown tonight at the ArcLight cinema in Santa Monica at 9:25pm. Full details can be found at the LA Film Festival website HERE.

On Friday (23rd June) the film will receive its slightly delayed release on the streaming service.
 A somewhat surprising turn of events.
Teen drama You Get Me will be premièred at the LA Film Festival on Monday the 19th of June.
But wait, you might say, a film being first shown at a film festival is hardly an usual occurrence. It is practically the law
But, we found out earlier this year that Netflix had taken up Awesomeness Films, Bella Thorne-lead movie. Making it an exclusive to their media streaming platform as part of a multi-project deal.
That date may trigger a thought or two as well.
The 16th of June was due to be the day that You Get Me first appears on Netflix. To make way for the LA Film Festival première the online release has been pushed back to the 23rd of the month.
So, a future-looking service like Netflix has delayed the release of a new film in favour of the more traditional film festival route. Next they’ll be announcing it will be available exclusively at Blockbuster video stores on Betamax cassettes 5 years after hitting the silver screen. I am old enough to remember all those things 
Very little press material has been released about You Get Me so there isn’t much more to say about the film even at this late stage. We still don’t know the role Kathryn plays, not even the first name of her character.
The première screening is due to start at 9:25pm at the ArcLight 8 cinema in Santa Monica.
