Kathryn @ 59th Annual Primetime Emmys 2007 – The Rest Of The Night

Careful Kathryn there’s some Pino on your arm.

We will continue our 2007 updates with a second post covering the Primetime Emmy Awards of that year in a moment, but first we need to add something that got missed off from the previous update.

I’d forgotten that I had a video of Kathryn being interviewed on the red carpet stashed away waiting for an appropriate time to post it. Last week would have been that time. Doh! It’s the usual sort of chit-chat about the dress etc. but does include Kathryn’s thoughts on the then upcoming season 5 of Cold Case. The video now is in the Gallery.

And back to our regularly scheduled update…

Last time out it was Kathryn on the red carpet. Now we move on to the show itself, into the backstage area, the post-show press room and an after party. Photos aplenty. And a video!

Ms Morris and Mr Pino presented two awards together and we have video to prove it. Once off stage they were photographed together in the press room. We already had quite a few photos of the pair of them larking about for the snappers but we’ve super-sized four of them and added a further 24 for your viewing pleasure!

But that’s not it. We also have an additional shot of Kathryn and Danny backstage and one of Kathryn attending the Governor’s Ball after party.

Kathryn On Spring Break 2012?

Oh, it’s not that spring break

According to an article on the online magazine Society News LA website Kathryn attended an event called Spring Break: Destination Education on the Saturday just gone, the 5th of May 2012. Her name appears in an extensive list of celebs that were present at the event held on the Sony Pictures lot in Culver City, Los Angeles.

The City Year Los Angeles annual party raises money and awareness for work done with at-risk students. At this, the 2nd running of the event, $1.2M was raised by more than 1,100 guests and sponsors with an evening of fun and games. That’s more like the Kathryn we know

No further information on Kathryn’s involvement is available at this time and so far no photos have emerged of her at the event. We will let you know if more comes to light.

Kathryn @ 59th Annual Primetime Emmys 2007 – Arrivals

Returning to our 2007 theme we jump from a cold January in Utah at the Sundance Film Festival to a significantly warmer Los Angeles in September. Things have indeed got a little hotter 😉

This, the first of a couple of updates we will have from the 59th Annual Primetime Emmys, we look back at the arrivals or red carpet. “Back” is very much the theme of the photos too.

I’m sure you all remember Kathryn’s amazing red dress with plunging front and the ribbon criss-crossing her back. Just a tug away from… disaster/triumph.*

We last did an update of photos from this event in September 2010. Now we have a further 20 new images of various sizes to bring to you. Find them all in the Gallery.

Sunday’s Mother Premières Today

Today (1st of May 2012) the short film Sunday’s Mother is due to première at the Newport Beach Film Festival in California.

The film will be shown with 5 other films in a collection titled “Don’t Cut Your Family Short” at 4pm local time. To quote the official blurb from the Festival Genius website (which also has details of the screening):

After moving to a new school, Sunday is confronted by a bully who claims he has a scandalous secret about his newly-divorced mother.

Kathryn stars as Gillian, that newly-divorced mother.

Sadly, according to our information it is unlikely that Kathryn will be attending the screening.

We hope to bring you more news from the event later but for now we’d like to wish the cast and crew the best of luck with the event.

Wedding Date Anniversary

At almost exactly this time last year I very cleverly, if I do say so myself, posted a set of photos tenuously linked to a major news item of the day.

The two things were the William & Kate Royal Wedding in April 2011 and the January 2005 première of the rom-com movie The Wedding Date. See what I did there? Kathryn was not in the wedding or The Wedding Date. She did not attend the wedding in London but did attend the movie première in Los Angeles 5 and 1/2 years earlier.

To mark the anniversary of that post, and also the Will & Kate’s nuptials, I have added a massive 70 small images to the existing collection of photos the event (the première, not the wedding) in the Gallery.
