 Cougars, Inc. is now available for pre-order on the American version of the Amazon online store. The release date is listed as, yes, you guessed it, the 10th May 2011.
The DVD and Blu-ray editions are listed for $18.99 and $20.99 respectively. Those are discounted prices, the list prices ($26.98 and $29.99) match those in the previously posted press release.
The Blu-ray cover art (on right, larger version is in the Gallery) is interesting. It looks initially like just the box art already released by the distributor pasted onto the Blu-ray case shape. However, on closer inspection it appears that that is not the quite true.
Look at Kathryn’s knee. Yes, I looked straight at Kathryn’s legs when I saw the picture 😉 You can the kneecap on the Amazon image, on the box art image the knee is cropped off.
Pre-order your copy now to avoid disappointment! Or “get ’em while their hot!”

 The Mother’s Little Helpers website was seemingly abandoned a long time ago, and the movie’s renaming required a change to the site anyway. So, in its place a Facebook page has been created to act as the official source of information regarding Cougars, Inc.

Cougar week continues here on Discovery KM UK
The image posted yesterday is indeed box art for Cougars, Inc. A new, larger version is now in the Gallery.
 Lionsgate, the distributor of Cougars, Inc., have issued a press release regarding the upcoming DVD & Blu-ray versions of the film. It confirms the 10th May launch date in the USA and even gives prices for the two different disc formats. Various sites are now listing the movie has being out on that day.

As if that was not enough we also have a likely candidate for poster and box art (as shown on the right), though this maybe for the European version only. The image is small but You can still see that the dresses Kathryn, Denise Richards and Catalina Rodriguez are wearing and the stairs they are standing on or near are the same as in the photoshoot the ladies did a few months ago. The dog and Kyle are clearly superimposed, as is the framed picture of Jim Belushi in the background.

 The increasingly inaccurate December 20th release date has finally been removed from the IMDb page of Kathryn’s long awaited movie Cougars, Inc.! And it’s been replaced with… not a lot.
However, a recent change to the release details page suggests it may be getting what used to be called a “straight to video” release. The page now lists the USA release of Cougars, Inc. as being a “DVD premiere” in 2011. That is to say no cinema distribution at all.
Of course, this could be wrong, as I’m sure we all hope it is. However, with this and the previously reported possible German Blu-ray/DVD release in April, the chances of a theatrical début appear to be slipping away with each little additional piece of news.
We are still waiting for more official confirmation of anything related to the movie’s release.
