Bone Tomahawk Gets A Release Date?

poster_001_1014x1500It’s been a busy week on KM UK with some big news and here’s a bit more.

The long-running horror news website Fangoria is reporting that Bone Tomahawk will be released on the 23rd of October of this year, three weeks after its premiere at the Fantastic Fest event.

Presumably this is a date for a US cinema launch, though it does suggest the rest of the world could see it by the end of the year.

You can read Michael Gingold’s piece on the Fangoria website HERE.

As an aside, Michael is the co-writer of the Alice Sweet Alice remake Kathryn was reported to be starring in.  It’s all gone quiet on that front but it could still happen.

For those wanting more detail on the story of Bone Tomahawk you can read the Fantastic Fest website description HERE.  Be warned, it is quite detailed (though it does not mention Kathryn’s character) so if you don’t want to be spoiled…

Thanks to Fate815 for the heads-up.

colony_banner_2880x1260Exciting news for us Kathryn fans.  She will be back on our screens soon

The showbusiness news site Variety is reporting that Kathryn has been cast in a recurring role in the upcoming USA Network drama series Colony.

Kathryn is said to be playing Charlotte a “cultural director and patrician in the Green Zone” and wife of Adrian Pasdar’s (Heroes) politician Nolan.

Colony is set in a near-feature Los Angeles which is occupied by outside forces.  The focus is on Josh Holloway (Lost) and Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead) and their family’s struggling to survive the situation.

There is no specific information on when the series starts airing but the autumn, possibly October, have been mooted.  The sci-fi drama is said to be 10 episodes long in its initial season.

More news when we get it.
