Sunday’s Mother DVDs Ship & Exclusive Clip

002As part of the Kickstarter crowd funding process it is normal for those that help with the funding of a project to be promised certain rewards as an incentive.  This is often early access or special editions of the product.  In the case of the short film Sunday’s Mother a DVD of the movie was the main item on offer.

KM UK has been informed that technical issues delayed the process significantly but in the past few days the DVDs and other rewards have been sent out to the 17 backers that pledged $25 more to help get Sunday’s Mother made.

To celebrate this milestone KM UK brings you a short exclusive video clip from the movie.  It is part of the opening scene from the film as Gillian (Kathryn) and Sunday (Chase Ellison) enter their new apartment, as pictured above.  You can now find the video in the Gallery.

Thank you to the production crew of Sunday’s Mother for their help with this.

Sunday’s Mother is still in the process of being submitted to festivals.  It was accepted into the Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC 2012 last Friday and was screened at the Phenom Film Fest this past weekend.  We will bring you any more news as it comes in.

Today’s scheduled Summer Of HD 2012 update will be posted next week.

Kathryn @ She Wants Me DVD Launch Event – Update x2

It’s been five months since we saw her at an event.

Last night (8th September 2012) Kathryn was in Las Vegas for the DVD launch event of the movie She Wants Me.

She Wants Me stars Josh Gad (Woke Up Dead), Kristen Ruhlin (One Life To Live), Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire), Charlie Sheen (2 And A Half Men) and our old friend Johnny Messner (G.I. Joe: Renegades and Cold Case).

The last event we saw Kathryn at was the première of She Wants Me back in April.  She must really, really like this film.  There is just no other explanation 😕

We now have 7 medium sized photos in the Gallery of Kathryn and some bloke (it’s Johnny Messner) on the not-so red carpet at this event.  We’ll update this post if we get more or find better versions.

Update:  11 more small photos have been added.

Cold Case S01E16 – Volunteers HD Screencaps

Like last week’s Disco Inferno we’re back in ‘remains found under a building’ territory in Volunteers, the latest post in KM UK’s Summer Of HD 2012.

Volunteers has quite an array of female guest stars.  Marisol Nichols makes her first appearance as Scotty’s long-term girlfriend Elisa.  Amber Benson (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Maggie Grace (Lost) and Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) all feature in the flashbacks to the 1969 murder of two young people.  Working in an illegal abortion clinic makes our two volunteers a target for attacks.  But is that why they were killed?  Probably not, that would be too obvious.

And to top it all Louie’s back!

Cold Case S01E15 – Disco Inferno HD Screencaps

Cold_Case_S01E15_lilly_001Yes, it’s the episode that ends with Rush and Kite at the disco.  Will also has a quick boogie back at the office.  It’s Disco Inferno.

The 1978 fire at a disco in which 22 people died might not be the straight forward arson case it first seemed when the skull of a 23rd body is found.  The bullet hole suggests he didn’t die in the fire.  The squad boogie on down to business to crack it :-)

Kite persuades Rush to go dancing with him in return for helping to… not so much ‘pop a cap’ in a suspects ass as pop one out 😯

Resurrecting The Champ Screening With Kathryn

During my time on the Look Again Cold Case fan board I met a lot of fellow fans of Kathryn.  A lot of them were kind enough to visit me here at KM UK and help get it off to a good start.  Many of the ‘old band’ still drop by on a regular basis.  Hello there, it would be great to hear from you again.

I made some good friends there too.  One I count myself very lucky to have is the person everyone knows, including me, only as LillyKat.

LillyKat was Senior Staff Writer at the now sadly defunct TV review blog Pass The Remote (PTR).  For five years LillyKat, along with the site owner TVFan, wrote wonderful reviews of their favourite shows.  Shows like Damages, Fringe, Ice Road Truckers, Psych, Saving Grace, and of course Cold Case.

For much of this year here on KM UK we’ve been looking back at events that Kathryn attended in 2007.  We’ve had new photos from fund raisers, premières, promotional events, award shows and festivals.  After an absence of a few months today we go back to 2007 with a little help from LillyKat.

Mid-August 2007, just over a week before the official première of the movie Resurrecting The Champ, a special screening was held in Los Angeles.  Amongst the attendees was a certain Kathryn Morris and the film’s director Rod Lurie.  And LillyKat.

There was a post-screening Q&A session in which the intrepid reporter asked a few questions and she even managed a quick one-on-one with Kathryn afterwards.  The event formed the basis of two articles on PTR: the first a write-up of the whole evening, the second a review of the film.

LillyKat has very kindly allowed KM UK to reproduce in full the two pieces and host her accompanying photos in our Gallery.  Frankly, she owes me a few favours so there wasn’t much arm twisting involved :-)
