Kathryn’s A Minx For Lynx

A couple of weeks on from the New York Comic Con we still seeing content released from it.

nycc_video_007The latest is a video of Greg Bernard of Entertain Lynx putting a few questions to Kathryn Morris and Jessica on the red carpet.  The two ladies, ‘Jess and Kat’, were promoting the upcoming TV series Reverie.

It’s all a bit of silly fun.  Jessica is clearly a bad influence on our Kathryn as she drops the ‘b’ word :-)  We don’t get to learn much about the show except that Kathryn’s DoD staffer Monica Shaw bullies Jessica’s software engineer Alexis Barrett.

Kathryn’s All Smiles In Syfy Reverie Interview

And smiles, amazing as they are, is pretty much all we got.

A further bit of reporting from the recent New York Comic Con has been published.  This time it is a video interview with the Reverie cast (Sarah Shahi, Jessica Lu, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Dennis Haysbert, and Kathryn), and creative team Mickey Fisher and Tom Szentgyorgi.

Lisa Granshaw lead the chat for the Syfy.com website.  The cast talk a little about the concept behind the show and have a laugh about what they might do with a chance to go into a virtual world like the one Jessica Lu’s character has created.  Mickey and Tom explain what was behind the idea.

nycc_video_006As I say, sadly Kathryn really doesn’t get to contribute anything in this interview.  Maybe there was more that was left out of the 5 minute edit published.  No doubt they all did dozens of these chats with various journalists through the day in New York, so only so much time can be allocated to each.

Kathryn @ NYCC Interview Video

I could have added this to the much-updated previous post but felt it really deserved a new article.

Sean Ferguson, Senior Correspondent at the entertainment news website FlickDirect, got to interview the cast and crew of the upcoming NBC drama series Reverie at the recent New York Comic Con event.

The 15 minute long video (which can be found on YouTube HERE) includes interviews with all the major cast Sarah Shahi, Jessica Lu, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Dennis Haysbert, and Kathryn, as well as creator/writer Mickey Fisher and producer Tom Szentgyorgi.

nycc_video_005The video starts with several minutes of Sendhil giving a very eloquent description of the show.  Then Jessica joins him.  It is during this segment we get our first glimpse of Kathryn.  This really is the red carpet area we’ve already seen many photos from.  Kathryn is being photographed just off camera.  Sendhil and Jessica get Kathryn to join them for a minute, during which Dennis crashes the party, until they are all called away for more photos.  Then it’s 90 seconds with Mickey and Tom, before we’re back to Kathryn and Jessica.  It is a fun 3 and half minute long section.  The video ends with a couple of minutes with Dennis and a nice 3 with our so far absent leading lady Sarah.

We are treated to some lovely smiles from Kathryn as she talks up the show and her cast mates, there’s a bit of finger action and a curse word.  Bad Kathryn! 😯

I’ve added a small copy of the video and a load of screencaps to the KM UK Gallery.  I’ve also thrown a 3 more new photos and some more enlargenings (it’s a word…ish) from last weekend’s event.

Kathryn @ NYCC 2017 – Many Updates

As we hoped Kathryn is in New York this weekend for the special screening of the Reverie pilot at the New York Comic Con event.

And by the looks of it she is having some fun.

A couple of photos now in the Gallery courtesy of social media accounts.  More will be added as I find them.

Reverie Posters! Kathryn!

artwork_002Despite the announcements there is always that doubt that maybe Kathryn won’t be in the TV series Reverie.  For what ever reason these things can change.  Assuming Kathryn will star we can’t yet be sure the extent of her role within the show.

artwork_002Ahead of the pilot screening this weekend some of those fears have been allayed by the release of a couple of posters.  As you can see above, Kathryn is right there on the promotional material confirming a March 2018 première.  In this composite image she’s been placed between Sendhil Ramamurthy and Dennis Haysbert.  Sarah Shahi’s pose shows what the previously released, rather awkward looking artwork was based on.

To the right is a clipped section from one of the poster versions showing Kathryn in much greater detail.  Lovely.

Both versions are now in the KM UK Gallery, along with a couple of obscure on set images I added yesterday.

It is good to see the publicity for Reverie is stepping up.
