ET Online are reporting that Kathryn will feature in a forthcoming book, M: Mermaids Of Hollywood, by the photographer Mark Anderson.

Kristen Bell, Mena Suvari and Connie Britton are among the 60 celebs starring in the mermaid-themed set of photographs. The book is due out in March 2011. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for this one

Update: It looks like this book might also be an eBook App for the iPhone and iPad and will be made available via the iTunes Store, possibly before the end of the year. A ‘Making of’ video can be found HERE on YouTube, Kathryn does not appear in it at all but if it gives a reasonable impression of what Kathryn’s photo might include… WOWZA! 😉

Festive Fan Art Forthwith

As we hurtle all too rapidly towards the end of the year there is time for one more fan art gallery update. That time will be early next week, just in time for Xmas.

Of course the main theme of this update will be seasonal. So, any images of our snow angel, the perfect stocking filler, the thing you most want to find wrapped in a bow under your tree and the gift that keeps on giving will be very gratefully received. (Those were all references to Kathryn for those that hadn’t guessed 😉 )

First For Women – August 2008

Today we have a small addition to the magazine section of the Gallery with another piece on Kathryn from First For Women magazine. This time it is from the August 2008 edition.

It’s not a proper discussion-type of interview, more a simple question & answer session written up as a series of statements by Kathryn. We get Kathryn’s thoughts on her acceptance of her beautiful pale skin and the wish to challenge herself regularly.

The mention of filming in Canada a couple of summers previously (2006) will most likely have been Resurrecting The Champ, which appeared at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2007 and was released later that year.

A scan of the magazine is now in the Gallery and a full transcript is below.

KM @ Women In Entertainment Breakfast – Update x2

When Kathryn has the most important meal of the day she does it in style! Well she did today at least

This morning (7 December 2010) saw Kathryn attend The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual ‘Power 100: Women In Entertainment Breakfast’ in Beverly Hills, California. Halle Berry, Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman (what?!?) were also there.

We do know, thanks to her Tweeting about it last night, that make-up artist CarleneK was partially responsible for Kathryn’s look at the event. It involved an early start for everyone but I think we can all agree she looked great 😉
