It is quite a small picture but you don’t need a big picture to showcase that amazing smile. Bigger would be better though Thanks to Asher for posting the photo and Neil for capturing the joy so well.
Photographer Steven Taylor, who did the Cougars, Inc. photoshoot we saw images from late last year that makes up the cover art work for the DVD/Blu-ray releases of the movie, has put a behind the scenes video from the shoot on YouTube. And it is quite a sight to behold for us Kathryn fans. The video shows the ladies of the movie Kathryn, Denise Richards, Rebecca Mader and Catalina Rodriguez and Kyle Gallner posing for photos. There are a set of HD (720p) screencaps and a small copy of the video in the Gallery. You can find the original YouTube video HERE. Thanks to Kareen_T for the heads-up and thank you to Steven for the video and photographs. Hopefully we’ll more of the results of this shoot in the coming months as we near the DVD/Blu-ray release.
No price or release date is given, just the option of signing up to receive a notification of availability, but I’m sure the details of American version apply So far we have America, Canada and our original surprise sighting of Germany listing Cougars, Inc. on Blu-ray and/or DVD. If you spot it as being available in your local area please let me know via the contact form. I updated the Blu-ray box image in the Gallery yesterday with a version that includes the spine (as seen on the right). That section appears to have been cropped off the previous version.
The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual ‘Power 100: Women In Entertainment Breakfast’, marked the last of Kathryn’s public appearances of 2010, and the last full stop at the time of writing. It may have won the worst costume award in the recent KM UK Awards 2011 (and fellow KM UK Award winner CarleneK did Kathryn’s makeup for this event) but we’re not quite finished with it yet. For those interested in such things, since the original post from this event I’ve discovered that the interesting shoes Kathryn is wearing are by Valentino. They are called Rockstud and are part of the Valentino Spring 2011 collection. A mere £595 (US$1000) per pair! I’ll take 3! This post was originally going to happen early last week with 3 new medium sized images but other updates took precedence. As luck would have it the delay meant I could change those 3 for much larger versions and add an additional one (as shown above and below). So, 4 new large photos have been added to the Gallery. OK, maybe there was a little cougar in there Thanks to smallbarbie for the reminder.
The DVD and Blu-ray editions are listed for $18.99 and $20.99 respectively. Those are discounted prices, the list prices ($26.98 and $29.99) match those in the previously posted press release. The Blu-ray cover art (on right, larger version is in the Gallery) is interesting. It looks initially like just the box art already released by the distributor pasted onto the Blu-ray case shape. However, on closer inspection it appears that that is not the quite true. Look at Kathryn’s knee. Yes, I looked straight at Kathryn’s legs when I saw the picture 😉 You can the kneecap on the Amazon image, on the box art image the knee is cropped off. Pre-order your copy now to avoid disappointment! Or “get ’em while their hot!” If you see the film on your local Amazon store website, or any other store in your region, please let me know so I can spread the word |
