Fan Art Update – May 2011

Alongside KM UK stalwart IcyWinter‘s new Avatars and Banners we have four Wallpapers from Richard Maissner.  As you can see from from the image above Richard does very complex, intricate work.  See all the additions in the Gallery.

Many thanks to IcyWinter and Richard for allowing KM UK to bring their art works to you all.  Hopefully we’ll see more from them both in the future.

Cold Case S04E01 – Rampage Full HD Screencaps

Cold_Case_S04E01_lilly_001This year for KM UK’s Summer Of HD 2011 we focus on Cold Case season 4 and it starts with a bang!  Or two! 😉

In the first episode, Rampage, we get to see Kathryn (as Lilly) in bed stroking a teenage boy (albeit in picture form).  Little did she know then that three and half years latter she’d actually be doing something very similar with the same young man (Kyle Gallner) in the movie Cougars, Inc.  Of course the man Kathryn is sharing the bed with here is one of the actors that stole her job in Pensacola: Wings Of Gold when the cast was almost completely changed for that show’s second season.  And all this happened under the nose of a Cold Case Supervising Producer who was to become her partner, business and otherwise.  Oh what a tangled web we weave.

Back to the episode.  Stillman’s giving Rush the cold shoulder because Joseph’s giving her the warm… feelings as the team investigate the case of a shooting spree in a shopping mall.

Best.  Episode.  Ever 😉

Summer Of HD 2011

Exactly which day is the first of summer in the UK seems to be the cause of some debate.  It could have already past.  Or not be due for a few weeks.  Whatever.  Here at KM UK we are declaring that today is the first day of our summer and that means the return of our Summer Of HD.

Starting next week we’ll be expanding the Gallery with new HD screencaps.  This year our main focus is another season of Cold Case with all new exclusive full HD 1080p screencaps from most of the episodes.  But which season will it be?  You’ll have to wait and see, but I will say that it is a great one for Lilly-caps, with Kathryn looking amazing.  Not that that narrows it down very much :-)  Also there will be promo videos for some of the episodes.

Plus, we’ll have updates to various movies, public appearances and photoshoots.

It’s going to be a long hot summer 😉

Cougars, Inc. Review Update – US Release

box_art_005Amazon did it again.  Last time, for Loverboys (Cougars, Inc.’s German release name), Amazon Germany got it to me on the release day and then reduced the price.  OK, Amazon USA got the discs delivered today, the day after the launch which is understandable given the distance but they’ve once again reduced the price and charged me at lower rate.

I’ve updated my movie review to make a few notes on the differences between the two versions.  I’ll get one of the differences out the way right now, you may have spotted it already :-)  The image above is from the back cover of the US release DVD and Blu-ray packaging (there’s a copy in the Gallery).  Unlike the Loverboys release that had a collection of images on the back, none of which involved Kathryn, this release has a single image made up of shots taken at the promo photoshoot (as we saw in the behind the scenes video).  Well, sort of.  For some reason they’ve replaced Kyle’s head with the one from the front cover image.  It’s good to see that shot of Kathryn finally used :-)

The front cover uses the updated box art that includes a more prominent Kathryn and Jim Belushi.  The differences were covered in a previous posting.  Asher came through on his claim to be making more of a feature of Kathryn.
