Women In Entertainment Breakfast, Dec 2010 – 3rd Helpings

It’s been a year.

Yesterday (7th December 2011) saw the holding of latest The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual ‘Power 100: Women In Entertainment Breakfast’ function. The event happened on exactly the same date last year.

Sadly, Kathryn was not in attendance this time so instead we’re going to mark the occasion by taking a trip down lovely memory lane back 12 months for another KM UK Gallery update. Not my favourite outfit on Kathryn but as we all know it’s what’s on the inside that counts 😉

In February we had added with 4 new large images and today, on the anniversary + 1 day, we bring you… 4 more large images (see above and below). They are now available in the Gallery.

Screenplay Still

Three weeks ago we were lucky enough to see the first real evidence of Kathryn starring in the 1999 dark comedy film Screenplay when a couple of clips were posted on YouTube by the director.

Today we have a little more proof. Very lovely proof it is too.

And ‘little’ is the operative word. I’ve managed to find a small, but perfectly formed (much like the lady herself ) photo of Kathryn’s Fanny in the movie as she wags her finger at person or persons unknown. Probably me for that last sentence 😉

Initially the shot appears to match the scene as the writer barges into the agent’s office in opening seconds of the first clip we got last month. However, the background is a little different with the video having a painting behind Kathryn, not a large letter as we in the photo. The hair-do, outfit and necklace are certainly a match. Which leaves it unclear as to how this fits in.

Sadly the gentleman responsible for making the photo available, make-up artist on Screenplay Ray Lau, died 2 years ago after a battle with cancer. The credit goes to him posthumously.

Fan Art Update – November 2011

The regular monthly fan art gallery update for November 2011 has been hijacked for Thanksgiving.

Lolly & IcyWinter kindly donated a set of Banners and Wallpapers for the KM UK Fan Art Gallery including several with a festive twist. Big thanks(giving) to them.

Kathryn’s 1987 Yearbook

Naj over at the Cold Case discussion board Look Again has unearthed a hidden gem from the archives of our little star.

A site dedicated to actual cold cases in Connecticut has a difficult to find page that has some photos of one of its locals that is now very much associated with cold cases. Kathryn was a graduate of Connecticut’s Windsor Locks High School in 1987. The site has a scan of the her entry in the school’s yearbook from 1987.

As you can see the image contains several shots of the then 18 year old Kathryn Susan Morris. Awww. Kathryn certainly got to achieve some of her ambitions.

Cold Case S04E19 – Offender Full HD Screencaps

Much like the British summer KM UK’s Summer of HD 2011 involving Cold Case season 4 was a little patchy There were some episodes missing. We can now put that right for one of them: Offender (episode 19).

Let me get this straight:

Detective Scotty (Danny) has a bit of a temper. We’ve seen him getting very “hands-on” with a suspect.
One of Scotty’s partners is a blonde female detective.
The Captain is quite old and balding.
There’s an attractive red-headed A.D.A.

Anyone else have a sense of déjà vu… again?

Offender saw X Files regular Mitch Pileggi star as a desperate father taking the law into his own hands in a bid to force the cops to look into the death of his son. The squad have to solve the cold case and try and stop Mitch from killing again. This episode is focussed around more Scotty but there is still plenty of Lilly to enjoy.
