MLH Becomes Cougars, Inc.?

The listing on IMDb for Kathryn’s soon to be released (if the 20th December date is to be believed still) movie Mother’s Little Helpers suggests that it has changed it’s name to Cougars, Inc.

I’m not sure it is an improvement but it might be an easier sell in international markets, as well as separating the movie from the early version that leaked online.

So far I’ve not found any further evidence of this change so we’ll treat it appropriately for now.

Sleepstalker

Sleepstalker_19This is very much in the category of “it’s been in the Gallery for ages but I’ve never written about it.”

What we have here in Sleepstalker, a flick from 1995, is a pretty typical “horror” movie.  It’s not exactly one of the Saw franchise.  It’s the sort of film that gets pumped out by the hundred and will often feature a star of the future.  Almost as many careers have ended right there as the body count in such films.  This one, however, marks our favourite lady’s first real leading feature film role.

Moneyball Due 23 September 2011

According to various sources Moneyball‘s release date has been narrowed down to Friday 23 September 2011.  Previously Kathryn informed us it was planned for September, without mentioning a specific day.

See ComingSoon.net, Box Office Mojo and Collider.com (reporting on the Box Office Mojo piece).

Moneyball stars Brad Pitt as Billy Beane, the general manager of the Oakland A’s baseball team.  Philip Seymour Hoffman and Robin Wright co-star in the film adaptation of Michael Lewis’ book of the same name.

Thanks to IcyWinter for the heads-up.

Kathryn On Set Of MLH Photoshoot – Updated

20101118_photoshoot_onset_002As we head towards the expected December 20th première date of Mother’s Little Helpers it appears that the movie publicity machine is beginning to kick into life.  Articles and interviews are bound to follow.

20101118_photoshoot_onset_001Last night (18 November 2010) Denise Richards kindly posted a photo (see right) on Twitter for everyone to see of the ladies of MLH (herself, Kathryn, Catalina Rodriguez and Rebecca Mader) posing for a photoshoot.  Earlier, Denise had posted a photo of herself and Rebecca Mader together and mentioned a photoshoot.  I  suspected it might be for MLH,

As you can see Kathryn is wearing a short, black, sleeveless dress and a bit of a frown :-(  I’m sure this was just a brief drop of the smile between photos or it is something in-character to match events in the film.

You’ll find the full-sized, albeit rather grainy image in the Gallery, along with our already extensive collection of MLH related content.

Thank you to Denise.

Update: The smile is back! I’ve added another photo (the new banner image above) courtesy of the make-up artist Joanna Schlip.  Joanna did Denise’s make-up on the shoot.  A big thank you to Joanna for her assistance.

The Contender

the_contender_092The Vice President is dead. Can Lilly Rush and the squad prove who did it? Sorry, wrong show 😉

The Vice President is still dead though.  In a controversial move the President (Jeff Bridges, The Big Lebowski) chooses Senator Laine Hanson (Joan Allen, The Ice Storm) to be become the first ever female Vice President, subject to a confirmation hearing.  In what is a plan to get someone else the job, and revenge for her switching political parties, stories about Senator Hanson’s past surface.  The allegations against her are based are on events from her time in college.  Does the Senator back down to avoid embarrassing the President, and herself?  Does she come out fighting regardless of the truth?
