 Earlier this week some people in California were privileged to go to early previews of the movie Moneyball, which is not due for general release for another 6 months. A few articles have appeared, including this one on Hollywood Elswhere, giving a few quick opinions. NDAs probably prevent the posters going into too much detail but the general impression given is that the movie is very good. In particular Jonah Hill, normally seen in comedic roles, has been singled out for praise.
Our main interest in the film, a certain Kathryn Morris, goes largely unmentioned in the pieces beyond stating that she is in the film. That theme continues with comments I’ve had from a few of those that went to the special screenings. The sad news they report is that Kathryn is hardly in the film at all.

 Today Asher Levin has posted another trailer for Cougars, Inc. on the movie’s Official Facebook page. It is a “red band” video, meaning it is not following certain guidelines for content. It should therefore be considered very much NSFW. Kathryn doesn’t feature a lot but some of the time she does it looks… errr… interesting 😉

The Official Cougars, Inc. Facebook page has made some announcements.
In the US, I assume, the movie will be available via on demand services from the 1st of April. Exact details have not been released
Also, the film will apparently be “coming to your town throughout April with various parties and screenings.” Again, I assume this is in the US only as no further info was given.
 An image from the promotional photoshoot was posted (see right) and this has been added to a new album in the Gallery. We also got another on set image of Kathryn (see left). And, there was a link to a trailer for the movie on IMDb but it is the same one we’ve already seen.

Update: Shaw, TV/phone/Internet provider in Canada, is now listing Cougars, Inc. on their Video On Demand service as available from 1st April. Details here. I’m sure it will appear on others soon enough.
I think this one must have got slipped into the photos on the Official Cougars, Inc. Facebook page without being noticed as Asher Levin (writer/director) was having problems uploading images. It’s mostly fellow Brit done good Rebecca Mader (and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that 😉 ) but as Kathryn features so I have added it to the Gallery.

 The German distributors of Cougars, Inc., dtp entertainment, have posted a trailer for the film on YouTube. Loverboys is the title of the film in Germany.
The video, still in English, is the same as the version released by Grindstone Entertainment back in mid-February, except for the title. As such it contains strong language and scenes of a sexual nature, consider it NSFW.
Loverboys is due for release on DVD & Blu-ray on the 21st of April 2011 in Germany.
