(Screenshot from the closing credits of Roommate Wanted)Just sayin’ 😉Thank you to director Rob Margolies and all the cast and crew of Roommate Wanted for allowing KM UK to be involved. It is time for something a little bit special on KM UK. We’re starting our 7th year in existence with a great birthday present to ourselves and our fellow fans (that’s you!). To mark the release of the movie Roommate Wanted on DVD and VOD platforms today (19th May), KM UK is giving you an EXCLUSIVE video of Kathryn on the film set. As you will see the video is made up of Kathryn preparing for scenes, rehearsing and giving her fans here on KM UK a special message. The video has now been added to the KM UK Gallery HERE (there’s screencaps from it too). Enjoy. Many thanks to Kathryn, director Rob Margolies and the other cast and crew for doing this for us. Northern North Americans now have the chance to watch the short film The Coin for the princely sum of 99 cents Canadian. That’s a mere 11 cents per minute. Sounds like good value to me. The film is available on the Illico website to stream as a 24 hour rental until the end of January next year. You definitely need an account with them, and presumably there is some geo-locking or a requirement for proof of residence such as a registered credit card. You can see The Coin’s page on the site HERE. As usual thanks to writer/director/producer Fabien Martorell for letting us know. There is just one week to go until Roommate Wanted (née 2Br/1Ba) is available to buy and/or stream. The US DVD and VOD release of the ‘R’ rated thriller will be upon us next Tuesday, the 19th of May. At the time of writing I am not aware of the drama being available anywhere else in the world on disc or in streamed form. If you know differently please let us know in the comments below or using the Contact form. You can pre-order the movie on the Amazon US website on this page at the slightly reduced price of $13.94. Last time I posted about it it was $13.99! 6 cents saved! We don’t know the exact extent of Kathryn’s role in the project but we should not expect it to be too extensive. Next week KM UK will be marking the film’s launch by sharing some exclusive content. Remember to come back then. And so it continues… Overnight (UK time) the first poster for the film Bone Tomahawk was released by the production company Caliber Media. You may have noticed it already. I slipped in a small copy above (full size in the Gallery). Try squinting We know that Kathryn’s role in Bone Tomahawk as the wife of the Sheriff played by Kurt Russell will be quite small. So it is not a big surprise that Kathryn does not feature in the stars pictured or named in large letters in the poster. However, you never know how things can change once a film goes into post-production. Kathryn’s filmed scenes could easily have been lost in the editing process. The very good news is that if you look closely at the lower section of the poster you can see this: There she is, second to be listed after the actors highlighted in the main image. As mentioned previous Bone Tomahawk is due to be showcased in some form, probably only to those in the trade, at the Cannes Film Festival starting next week. Hopefully they’ll be more news then. An actual release date has not been announced yet and I understand that the film is in the final stages of audio post-production. |
