AI: Artificial Intelligence – Sunday, Again

ai_10With a certain sense of deja vu:

Sunday 6th of September 2009, BBC1, 11.20pm.  Details on the BBC’s website here.

Kathryn in a very brief appearance, totalling less than 20 seconds of screen time in the middle of the film, as the interestingly named Teenage Honey.  Well quite!  Not exactly a teenager, but definitely a honey.  Nothing artificial and plenty of intelligence too 😉

Previously I wished our American cousins a happy 4th of July.  This showing of AI appears to coincide with the Labor Day Weekend in the US of A.  So, happy Labor Day, though it doesn’t sound like fun :-)

If you spot a film or TV show in the UK TV schedules that involves Kathryn let me know so I can report it here for everyone else to see.  I’m trying to stick to the terrestrial, Freeview or Freesat systems to cover the most widely available stations.

Paycheck Premiere – Gallery Update

December 2003.  Was it really as long a go as that?

Yep.  The premiere of the movie Paycheck was on 18 December 2003.  There have been images from the event in the Gallery since the start, but 6 newly found HQ images have just been added.  Kathryn looks amazing and very happy in her dark red dress.  Find the new photos here.

Julie & Julia & Kathryn – Gallery Update

Is This The AOAHSP DVD Cover?

dvd_box_coverAccording to DVD Active it is.  It’s quite a change from the simple, stark and quite stylish black and white poster we’ve seen up to now.  Do you like it?

Assassination Of A High School President is due for release in the US on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on 6 October 2009.  Kathryn has a small role in the movie as the school nurse.

AOAHSP Blu-ray Release

posterIn a not entirely surprising move it looks like Assassination Of A High School President will be a getting a US release on Blu-ray disc as well as DVD, report Blu-ray.com and DVD Times.  Though with the way this movie has been treated in the year since it premiered at Sundance getting any sort of release is a surprise.

Extras will apparently include:

  • Deleted Scenes with Optional Commentary
  • Filmmakers’ Commentary
  • Alternate Opening Scenes
  • Deleted and Alternate Scenes

Hopefully at least one of those deleted scenes will see more of Kathryn as Nurse Platt.  A full HD (1080p) version of the brief appearance we already know about will be worth seeing anyway.

The US release is set for the 6 October 2009 which is a week earlier than previously thought.  No news, yet, on a UK release date.
