Asher Levin has finally published details on the Cougars, Inc. Facebook page of the US screening tour he’s been promising since late March would happen throughout April. He’s left it until the last minute too. The first event on this roadshow is tomorrow (4th May 2011) at the Woodward At Ames restaurant in Boston, Massachusetts. It is not clear who from the cast will be attending the event.
Other than Boston the cities the tour is listed as visiting and the dates known so far are:
- Miami, FL on 6th May
- New York City, NY on 9th May
- Salt Lake City, UT
- Austin, TX
- Las Vegas, NV
- Scottsdale, AZ
- San Francisco, CA
As you can see not all the dates have been confirmed or venue details given. The short time between the 3 dates we do have suggests that the whole process will be done in a less than a month. With the DVD and Blu-ray versions of Cougars, Inc. due for release on 10th of May in North America it makes sense for this be more of a promo tour for that.
So much for April. On the day the Austin, Texas screening was due to happen (7th April) Asher told me via Twitter that they’d be in the city later in the month. It was as though the Maggie Mae’s party was never really on, despite evidence suggesting it was originally going to hold the première.

Update (10th May 2011, 7:45BST): The Boston event was cancelled. The Miami event was disrupted by bad weather. The New York event didn’t happen at all, with no explanation by anyone. It appears that Asher Levin was actually in New York over the weekend for a music video shoot though.
 Since the last post like this a few more photos have been added to the Cougars, Inc. official Facebook page. The one above may look very familiar, it is nearly identical to one posted previously but not quite and it is not just the addition of colours.
We do have a couple really new ones today, this time of Kathryn doing yoga. Clearly it is a lot of fun. It certainly raised my heart rate, amongst other things 😉
And lastly Asher posted a shot from the promo photoshoot, but we already have that in a much larger size

 Last week in my post about the release of Loverboys (the German name for Cougars, Inc.) on DVD I noted that three new on set pictures that included Kathryn from the on-disc extras were added to the Gallery. I have now upgraded them to HD sized versions so I thought they warranted a new post.
Plus, another on set image (below right) was posted on the movie’s official Facebook page the other day. Little point posting an item for just one such image so I held off mentioning it until today, but I know that many of you have already spotted it 😉
  
 A MrJBone99 (I dunno) has posted a video comprising of footage taken at the Cougars, Inc. première, the after party and various people discussing what a cougar is on YouTube. Kathryn appears several times, including in snippets from the previously posted Mingle Media interview video.
The new video has been added to the Gallery. As it is small sized, quite low quality and covered in credit text I haven’t done screencaps. And the red carpet and after party event photos we have cover it anyway.

Update: A 2nd version of the video has been posted on YouTube by CougarTutor (who I believe is actually one of the movie’s exec producers). A copy can be found in the Gallery. This version is lacking the alcoholic beverage branding but includes other captions that suggest it is being as a promotional tool in of itself with its “your logo here” type messages. So, it is part promo for the tour and part promo for the company that put the promo together. I think!
In the previous post Icywinter asked about the soundtrack of Cougars, Inc. I’ve also seen others asking and searching for this information so I put together a page listing all the songs from the credits of the movie.
Most of the songs are written and performed by Cisco Adler and some of those were done in colaboration with writer/director Asher Levin. Will Crum and Dirty Harry also contributed tracks.

Update: The soundtrack page has been updated with a list of the tracks (well, most of them) as they appear in the film. Please let me know if you can help fill in the gaps.
