Here’s an update on the upcoming movie From Embers. It has been nearly a year since we first heard about this film and things have clearly progressed in recently weeks.
First of all, a release date of 25th October 2024 is being shown for the film. It is marked as being ‘limited’. This could mean that it will just be available to the viewing public in a theater in Los Angeles for a few days to make it eligible for the Oscars. Within the industry this is very common practise for smaller films and even streaming service releases for that reason.
The drama written and directed by Kate Bohan has also, apparently, been submitted to a number of film festivals around the world. We’ll try and bring you news on those as and when.
