It may be called the ‘Short. Sweet. Film Fest‘ but their schedule for the festival is anything but.
The ‘Short. Sweet. Film Fest’ is a single venue event running over 3 days with the most detailed plan of events I’ve seen of any of the dozens I’ve looked at the past few years.
The Coin, the short film by Fabien Martorell and starring Christopher Lloyd (Taxi) and Kathryn, will be screened during the festival in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday the 11th of April. The venue is the Alex Theater, The Metropolitan At The 9 complex.
What normally happens at these short film festivals is for the individual movies to be grouped together, often around a common theme, to make a longer single screening. The exact timing of a particular item, or even the order, is thus rendered an unnecessary detail.
Not for the short ‘Short. Sweet. Film Fest.’ it isn’t.
Earlier this month the organisers released the official poster (see above right) and the schedule for the long weekend’s activities. It’s done to the minute for the every showing.
So, The Coin slots (see what I did there? never mind) in at 4:30pm, just after a ‘presentation’ by a local brewery.
