Fly Away has to be one of the more difficult episodes. The story is also one of the most compelling despite being one of the newest and simplest to sum up: A woman wakes from a two-year coma caused by a fall that killed her 6 year old daughter. Welcome to the latest edition in KM UK’s Summer of HD 2012.
Anything involving a deprived mother and young children is going to be of personal interest to Det. Rush, but remember that this was the very first time we’d got a look behind that particular curtain. This is, of course, Lilly so it is only a glimpse.
Why did this young woman take the drastic step of jumping through a window with her child? Will she remember anything of that night? Just what happened to Lilly all those years before?
400 HD (720p) Lilly screencaps and 6 new promo photos can now be found in the Gallery.
I don’t recall this one,its seems even tho ION has bought the rights to air “Cold Case” as I’ve said b4 they can’t seem to get beyond the 2005 season!
I wish I ran that company,I’d at least start with the first season 2003 and have a marathon of “Cold Case” rather then mislead/confuse the viewing audience!
After all wouldn’t it be nice to know how it all began!, was picked to become a Cold Case detective! Maybe its just me!
Have you not seen the first episode? Lilly wasn’t really picked to become a cold case detective. Already a homicide detective she reluctantly spoke to a witness and ended up investigating a cold case. She took a liking to them became the cold case lady.
Thanks for the info! But,no I have yet to see the first show or season 1!
No they haven’t aired the first show much less season 1! So no I haven’t seen it to date!
I did send ION TV a request regarding the possibility of them airing season 1 or doing a weekend marathon! They responded back today, thanking me for the suggestion and watching there channel,as well as,that they would forward my email to the programming dept. for consideration!
Will see what happens!
Best episode ever. Period.
It made me cry for more then 10 days after I saw it.
Fly away my butterfly…
Didn’t they have digital cameras yet in 2003? I can’t really recall when they became regular. It seems so strange nowadays to see someone holding a camera that close to their face 😛
You are right, it is unusual for people to hold a camera like that these days, except for those with big, professional digital SLRs.
However, I think that the camera above is a Canon PowerShot A70 (review on DPRreview.com) which is a digital camera from 2003. There is a screen on the back but it also has a traditional viewfinder.
Aaaah RichE, I can always count on you to have the background info down to a tee 😀
