Just a quick post to congratulate Danny Pino and the rest of the cast and crew on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit getting a renewal for the show’s 14th season.
I know the loss of some key cast members hit the show hard last year but it sounds like it did well in the ratings and that Danny and fellow newbie Kelli Giddish have done a great job. The news last week that Mariska Hargitay had signed a deal to remain with the show if it was renewed must have encouraged the network to keep the faith.
Hopefully we’ll see Kathryn get a guest starring role in the 2012/2013 season

Unfortunately,I’m not that big of a fan of Law & Order or any of the variety of Law & Order series, with that said, its an amazing accomplishment when a series goes that long and keeps a faithful viewing audience.
It would be great to see Kathryn guest star on L&O:SUV or any series for that matter,as well as,Kathyrn’s own series. I’m not sure what I want to see her do next, but most definitely I’d like to see her in a lead role that has more depth & intrigue to the character, maybe even a comedy. I think Kathryn would be great and could carry it off! I’ve yet to see Kathryn do a less serious type of role!
My vote at the moment, short of leading a new series, would be for Kathryn to do a few guest roles in other shows. That way she could play lots of different characters and wouldn’t have to commit too long to any one show.
Yep,I think were all somewhat missing seeing Kathryn back in acting whether its doing guest roles in one of the popular TV shows or a major film role!
Just a quess on my part, but,I’m beginning to think Kathryn has made the decision to take a break away from acting to focus all her attention on the role of being a producer, unless of course,a really, really,I just can’t turn this role down should come along, that she’d be crazy to walk away from!
Its just may opinion mine u,I certainly hope tho, that Kathryn doesn’t stay away too long!
It’s my turn to refer to an interview
In October 2010 Kathryn was at the EMAs and was interviewed on the red carpet. They covered a lot of ground and gave us a lot of new info (green issues, the end of Cold Case, Moneyball, Sendera) in the chat. Kathryn said she was taking “a break from TV” and would focus on “the pace of movies” (not sure what she meant by “pace”) for now. Hopefully that means more movie roles. Of course if her Moneyball work had reached the big screen it would have helped raise her profile.
You can find the lengthy post about all that and the video over HERE.
Touche as they say! A little humor there!
Was Sendera the show that Kathryn & Eva Longria did together,if so,as I recall it never made it as a regular show for ABC-TV!
I’ll have to give it a listen. Thanks for the insight! Hopefully, it won’t be too long of a break from TV,at least lets hope not!
I,for one, would love to see Kathryn in leading lady roles, on the silver screen. We know she can do drama but imo,I think she be Great in Comedy!
Yes, Sendera was a co-production with Eva’s company. It never went beyond the script stage.

SVU is my favourite series now Cold Case was canceled, but I still love it.
