Let me get this straight:
- Detective Nick (Danny) has a bit of a temper. We saw him getting a little “hands-on” with a suspect within hours of joining the squad.
- One of Nick’s partners is a blonde female detective.
- The Captain is quite old and balding.
- There’s an attractive red-headed A.D.A.
Anyone else have a sense of déjà vu?

Correction, There currently is no partner for Danny’s character: Nick.
He’s being shown the ropes by Olivia ; the brunette. It wasn’t the first episode in which he was transferred that he punched a suspect; that was two episodes later.
His character is married, Nicky’s wife is in Iraq war, and they have a four year old daughter; Zara.

I haven’t actually watched any episodes (and only seen the ones I’ve screencapped) so I don’t know the nuances.
I was deliberately vague about partners (“One of…”) as Danny and Kelli haven’t not been in scenes together much, though they did do an interview together in episode 5.
Nick did get involved in a bit of a kerfuffle in his first episode but I can’t remember the details.
