We are less than 4 months away from the release of the movie Moneyball and we are still waiting for any official images or video. So for now we’ll have to settle for another on set image I’ve found. It’s not a great quality photo (but it is very large) but that smile always shines through.
Here we see Kathryn with the actor Gregor Manns. Gregor is credited as a “TSA Employee” in Moneyball, which for the benefit of those that don’t know means he is playing an airport security official. That ties in with the earlier report of Kathryn’s character, Tara Beane, and her husband Billy being on holiday to Hawaii.
Kathryn’s outfit and hair-do in this new photo match what we saw in the paparazzi shots from last September of her and Brad on set.
There is still something of a question mark over the extent of Kathryn’s role in Moneyball but hopefully things will become clearer soon.
I’m sure Kathryn’s role will be a regualar sized one. It isn’t a good photo of her, but i think it had to do with the sun. Or the lack of use of a flash.
Still it’s very good news to hear something about Moneyball, which I feel will be a hit success at the box office. I don’t ever go by what Star Magazine or National enquirer puts out, it’s pure fiction.
It’s just a bunch of made up stories especially the garbage that they put out about Kathryn.
Hopefully this movie gives Kathryn a lot of spotlight. Perhaps she’ll get on some talk shows like she used to do during her days on Cold Case.
It’s only four months away until the release of Moneyball. I can’t wait to see this one.
I just wanted to add the photo kind of makes her look older, especially with that tan… The recent photos of Kathryn at the Cougars inc premire was better, she looks better without that tan…
Awe. Her smile is the best. 😀
Personally, I love the tan, because it makes her smile brighter. 😀 😀 😀
@Lolly- I have to disagree about the tan on her. Kathryn isn’t the type of person who can look good with one. How can a tan make ones smile better?
It doesn’t make any sense, to me that is. Her smile is the same with a tan or not, tans don’t make one’s smile look better. That’s just me of course.
Kathryn looks better with her natural pale skin. Most celebs don’t look good with pale skin, she does. That’s how I prefer her.
It brightens her smile because it creates more contrast between white teeth and tan skin. Tans have a funny way of doing that. 😉 I love them! 😀
@Lolly- I still don’t see the connection, sorry. I personally don’t think tans make ones smile brighter. To me Kathryn always has a bright smile. She does have the best smile in hollywood..
As Lolly said if the skin is darker the white teeth will stand out more as the contrast between the two is greater.
I get it, but I think she doesn’t look good with tan skin. I think Kathryn probably went away before the filming of this movie. She isn’t the type to go to a tanning salon, the tan looks real not something that one would get from tanning bed.
I agree, she for sure doesn’t fake-n’-bake, but it could possibly be a spray tan. They look pretty natural. Considering she advocates for skin protection, I can’t see her going without sunscreen.
@Lolly- Spray tans have that orangey color. I doubt it’s a spray on, they don’t look natural at all. One can go out wearing sunscreen and get a tan.
When Kathryn was tanned at the Environmental Media Awards in October last year (see HERE) she was using CarleneK’s Shine Bronzer product. Carlene did Kathryn’s make up for the event.
A few weeks before that event Kathryn was filming the Moneyball scenes. I would assume that she used there same thing, though Carlene was not involved in doing Kathryn’s makeup for Moneyball.
And a few weeks after she was at the Walking Dead premiere (see HERE) looking her more regularly pale self.
Thanks RichE, I was under the impression that spray on tans don’t look natural. It could also be just makeup not a spray on tan, what do I know about makeup, not that I wear it is that the base colors comes in darker colors.
Whatever it is, we’ll never actually quite know. Kathryn’s smile is the brightest one in Hollywood:)
I do hope she wins an oscars for this movie, it would be her first:)
Really bad news. It looks like Kathryn is cut completely out of the film.
@Jose- How do you know that this is true, could you provide a source??
Hi Jose,
Thank you for telling us this, even if it is not good news.
I have seen people talking about another test screen of Moneyball a few days a go. Did you go to it?
Hi. I haven’t been to any test screenings. I’m not even from USA. But a friend of mine (who is also a big Robin Wright fan) has been asking via mail to people who attended different test screenings (one was in June and the other was a few months ago, I think).
She asked about the 2 woman role in the movie (Robin and Kathryn).
About Robin Wright: they said that in first test screening robin had 2 scenes and in the second 3 scenes. But it looks that she has been reduced in both of them because she has only about 2 minutes of screen time. The scenes are tooo short.
In the case of Kathryn Morris, they said that she was completely cut in both test screenings and that’s rare because Brad wears a wedding ring during the movie.
I cannot provide a source and maybe they change something because it’s not the finished movie, but I thought you would be interested in this information.
Really, I never was optimistic about this movie for Robin and Kathryn but 2 minutes and zero????? That’s bad. I’m sad they wasted Robin and Kathryn talent.
Helo again. I’ve just found this review but they don’t speak about Kathryn. But maybe you’re interested in reading it

Thanks for extra info Jose, it is appreciated.
I spoke to a few people that attended two previous test screenings. In the first Kathryn was only in the film very briefly and the 2nd not at all. I posted about it here. From what your friends say it sounds like they have not put Kathryn back in.
That review suggests there might be some scope for removing some bits, which might leave room for re-inserting Kathryn. It would make the film so much better as well
Too bad, I was really into seeing this movie. Now I’m not. I wonder if her scenes will be featured on the DVD in the deleted scenes.
I guess now Kathryn won’t attend the premire, she’s very talented and they could have kept her scenes. Give her some credit, It’s very unfair to do that. Perhaps those scenes would have added to the movie.
I’m very disappointed, Kathryn deserved to have her share of spotlight in this movie.
