I could have just added these as an update to the earlier post but I felt that they deserved to get their time at the top of the page.
4 really big images of Kathryn at this event have been added to the Gallery. The first is an update to the last one previously posted (number 10), a definite favourite around these parts. The other 3 (11-13) are new. She was lovely before. She’s even lovelier now 😉
Appropriately massive thanks to Z.
Just for the hell of it I’ve also done some screencaps of the interview video. Sadly, even with the best quality source available the caps are not great quality.
Update: A 2nd video of Kathryn being interview at this event has been added to the Gallery. Kathryn talks further about working with Brad. The large watermark across the middle, and the poor image quality of even the best version available, mean I won’t bother with screencaps. Thanks to Karen for the heads-up.
I love her smile, on the other post I’ve listed two designer brands that are probably the shoes she is wearing; seen in these pictures.
Honestly? I loved it. – Of course.
Rich, thanks for the photos again.
Kathryn <3 DIVA
@Karen- I don’t think Kathryn is considered a Diva in any respect. Not to put what you wrote down, I just don’t think she is
Kathryn has the best smile in Hollywood:-)
I think it was meant as a compliment as in the real meaning of the word, see HERE (Wikipedia).
“The term is used to describe a woman of outstanding talent in the world of opera, and, by extension, in theatre, cinema and popular music.”
I may, of course, be misunderstanding Karen’s use of the word like that.
Rich, you kill me.
Bahahahaha!
As Beyonce once said,.. “Na, na, na, diva is a female version of a hustler! Of a hustler! Of a, of a hustler!” 😉
LOL <3
I don’t think she’s that either, A Diva is like someone who is always in the news; being photographed. Having everything in the world type. Diva celebs like to blab about their personal lives as well.
Sort of like Paris Hilton. That’s what the word Diva means; here in the States. The usage of the word differs in other countries. I could be wrong.
Clearly Kathryn isn’t that type of celebrity; which is a good thing
I can promise you that “diva” means exactly what Rich said. The word has just been turned into a negative because of the Hollywood scene. The word does not differ by country. I live in Canada, trust. It’s simply a matter of reading the dictionary.
It is true that the word diva has changed in its common usage to mean a performer that makes unreasonable demands. Stories about the alleged behaviour of Mariah Carey and J.Lo put them in the “diva” category. It’s not the proper meaning of the word though. “Prima donna” has undergone similar change. I don’t know if such changes carry-over in translations to other languages.
You have to do a certain amount of reading into what someone is likely to mean, as opposed to what they might actually have written. This is particularly true when the person is a non-native English speaker.
Also, the context of the message is worth considering. Again, I can’t properly speak to Karen’s exact meaning when she used the word, but she is clearly a big fan of Kathryn, so is unlikely to be writing something so negative about her. She did use the <3 emoticon as well.
Anyway, to get back to the original subject: ooh look, pretty lady 😉
