Part 2 of our Summer of HD posts brings us, appropriately enough, to part 2 of Cold Case season 7. Hoodrats. Lilly is investigating the killing of a “sk8r-boi”. Isn’t that what you young people call them? 
And great set of screencaps it is too. We start with Lilly all hot in the office. Later Lilly looks hot while interviewing a suspect. And we end with… you can see where I’m going with this. It’s a nice end..ing 😉

I love the larger HD screencaps, and it’s actually Sk8terboi without the dash, that also was a song. To me they are called” Skaterboarders”.

@IcyWinter: It’s probably more likely to be “sk8erboi” without the dash. sk8ter doubles up the “t” from “eight” and the “ter” giving skatterboi.

After a thorough investigation, aided by my good friend Mr. Google, I came to the conclusion the correct spelling would be ‘sk8er boi’ to the song as sung by Avril Lavigne. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sk8er_Boi]
It is however possible, and generally accepted, to adjust this spelling to ‘sk8er boy’ and even ‘skater boy’. The dash has not showed up in my studies.
There is a difference between ‘skateboarders’ and the so-called ‘sk8er bois’. A skateboarder is simply someone using the skateboard, either for professional or amateurish purposes. A sk8er boi is someone who, apart from skateboarding, dresses tough and baggy and is supposedly very sexy, as proven by the Urban Dictionary.
